That's understandable because we know all over the world that the Russian police will keep you in custody for years. @@MrBeevee5 Only gotten my info from comments in other videos, as I don't know Russian to get info from the main source. So take it with a grain of salt. They don't put any info out on the international channels, because their lawyers advised them not to. From what I got is, they had a usual raid and there was a car parked on the sidewalk and they approached it. And the people in there were undercover cops and they beat three of the activist up and imprisoned them for disturbing an undercover operation. And now those 3 are in jail awaiting trial and face up to 5 years of prison. I also read of rumors that the cops weren't even on duty, but stopped on the sidewalk to get themselves a pizza. But as I said, this is all from other comments and I can't guarantee any of the info is correct. Edit: One of the imprisoned ones is Kirill

"You know it's a sidewalk, right?" "I know." "You know? Why do it then?" Our guys keep it up, repeatedly making the same point, sometimes over and over with the same drivers, and keep coming back to the same sites time and again. It seems as if the police are really starting to crack down on the lazy and entitled drivers. I don't know if this is because these are different police stations, new recruits, new police supervision or what. Maybe StopADouchebag really is beginning to change attitudes. Keep it up!

I’ve been watching for years now and I ask myself the same question in why hasn’t the govt implemented an increased fine to 1,000 USD and points onto the license. If the Russian government did this they’d be able to fund a better police force and fix the roads/parking with all the violation income.
@MrBeevee52 жыл бұрын
To me, that would be a major improvement factor if they increased the fines to a point of pain.

Raise the fine to 36500 rubles 1st time caught - doubling each time they commit a offence - After a couple of months the repeat offenders (100K rubles each time caught) will be no more. In the meantime while doing these raids take up a signed/online petition(or however you all do it over there) As concern citizens go to city council / gov meetings demanding to have fines raised. If you happen to actually stop sheeple from driving onto the sidewalk- than an only than take up poop patrol :-) Keep in mind 1 thing all government officials love is to make more money off of stupid people.
