OUTSTANDING!!! Exquisitely conceived, scripted, portrayed, structured/edited. Cried all the way through .... for the character, for everyone past and present who lives with this trauma. Conversion therapy is an iniquity, a lobotomising of the Soul. Parents who don't accept their children's gender orientation are committing a form of abuse no different to actual physical or sexual abuse. Why parents in particular? They're the ones who foot the bills for treatment rather than loving their children unconditionally.

This brought back so many memories of the days of conversion therapy, burning desires, and harsh treatment of everyone around. Mr. Coll and his team have beautifully plotted the not-so-very-unique topic in a unique way. Aristic expression of the film makes the pain feel sweeter and the ending ignites the hope for better days to come. Best wishes from Pakistan.
