I finally read One Hundred Years of Solitude after seeing it mentioned a few times on this channel. The writing was amazing, I really liked it. My physiotherapist says my wrist is starting to get better much now after flicking the pages back and forth 6000 times to check the family tree at the start of the book. So good news all round, thanks!

With a book like this I think you can just enjoy the writing and the story even if you accidentally see who marries who!

KINGDOM OF LITTLE WOUNDS! I also found this in my local library and had the same experience as you. So bizarre, you just gave me so many sudden flashbacks to my ‘what the heck’ moments of this book. OMG THE TUNNEL is an Argentinean classic, I've read it in high school. The plot itself is quite disturbing but the novel overall is great. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it! Also Carl Sagan omgggggg love him🤍✨

The Throne of Glass series got me through the beginning of the pandemic, through the first lockdown. I love how the characters’ attitudes and actions are put in a different light in the later books, as we find out details about their past. They do grow a lot. Celena is still irritating, but the series is kind of fun

I got The Heart Of The Fae for my birthday (asked for because of you) and oh my god. I'm 70 pages in and I know this is going to be a special book to me. I've never read a book based on Irish Mythology that actually portrays Fae like they are - absolutely f*cking terrifying and DANGEROUS - which I appreciate so so much. I see so much of myself in the main character, aside from the fact that we share the same name and hair colour. I'm also studying herbalism and lore and old spiritualities for fun and the herbalism depicted in the book is actually so accurate and it makes me so so excited! I woke up this morning after staring it yesterday and all I want to do is inhale it. Thank you for bringing this (potentially my new favourite) book into my life ❤️❤️❤️❤️
