I enjoyed this performance very much! Congratulations to these pianists for their fine work! Well done, musically and technically. This 19th Century work was composed by Borodin for a fully scored orchestra. It was transformed into a two piano version in 1992. I've had the pleasure of performing this work for two pianos with the arranger, Ann Pope. I’ve appreciated the care, mastery, and integrity to the voices and colorations in this arrangement which truly reflect Borodin’s intent. Please give credit to the arranger who set this work for two pianos, as well as to the performers. I agree with a previous comment - Borodin would have very likely approved!

Wonderfully talented duo playing some of the finest romantic music ever composed. I think Borodin would approve. Thank you for posting this!

I have watched these wonderful compositions performed by the amazing Florian Noack in his own transcription for one piano, and it was very, very beautiful! ❤ But obviusly they have more intensity when played in two pianos! ❤❤

Wonderful performance! I do like the arrangement, but it was written for orchestra and I miss the drama and lyricism that the orchestra gives to this inspiring piece. What an underestimated composer Borodin was. He was not a full-time composer, but was a chemist (?). Check out his 2nd Symphony! It will knock your socks off!!!

How can I get the piano scores for this beautiful 4-hand version?

Better than far than version by Vronsky-Babin which I heard played many years ago under the female partner's arrogant master class as though she were the female equivalent to Rachmaninoff.
