Thoop's reaction to Cher's proximity to Gun really highlights an indisputable fact... that he is a hurt kid. He lost his sister, has no connection with his parents, and the last bond he thought would be forever secure was the eternal love Cher has for Tian. For him, Cher has broken that bond so he has nothing to live for now. It's really too bad that Thoop doesn't count himself when he thinks about the ones that he loves; he's a non-entity to himself. He needs to link up with Uea's big boss to get the therapy hookup. Maybe then he'll find importance/significance in himself and be reassured of Cher's unconditional love for him. But again, the kid is hurting. Bad. Cher must be so important to him because they are friends/brothers, but more importantly, Cher is the only other person keeping Tian's memory alive in a positive manner. Seeing him loving someone else is basically seeing Tian fall into the abyss of the forgotten ones. I understand his visceral reaction. I empathize with the poor kid. I blame his parents for not helping guide him through the transition of losing a loved one. All he has left is Cher who the entire village blames for his sister's death. Although he knows better, that could have also taken a toll on his crumbling mental state after Tian's passing. When I look at Thoop, all I see is a child still drowning in grief. It sucks that he takes his grievances out on the only person willing or trying to save him.. the same person who is also drowning but hiding that fact to make everyone around him comfortable. 😢

Cher is an enabler when it comes to his gambling, little bro, every time he gives him money. That kid will always be asking for money or drugs or weapons and Cher is at fault for taking on a responsibility he can't handle. He's indulged the brother of a friend who has been dead for years, out if what guilt, loyalty? Cher should tell the kid that his sister rejected him, and that the baby was never his. If Cher truly cares, should get the boy a psycologist. 🏥🚑👨‍👧‍👧

Well Thoop has no one else so it's not like he can just put that responsibility on someone else, especially when he knows how the siblings were treated at home...and like he said he does it for Tian bc he loved her and she would want someone to help her brother but also just simply bc they grew up together and he considers Thoop like his real little brother It seems like Thoop didn't get too far in gambling or dangerous job bc he still cared for Cher's opinion and feelings and bc he thought they were missing Tian together so it's understandable that he freaks out seeing that Cher is moving on somehow... Obviously and objectively it's not right or fair to Cher but Thoop doesn't know about Cher's pain and guilt and is focused on his own pain...I think the non-sense and auto destructive tendencies in his attitude is pretty realistic, he's going through grief and not a normal one : the trauma of losing your pregnant sister by suicide or murder (we still don't know) is hard to overcome and likely it never really get better, especially if you have no emotional support and bad influences around you (his "friends" are bad news and don't care about him)

For me long in new york i used to walk and dance all the time then i mobed to SC and now i take ubers because everything is so damn far away and way too many uo and down hills for every single block I prefer dunkin to krispy creme donuts but in terms of coffee i would say any deli, cafe, bodega or starbucks for variety of milk , creamer, flavors and toppings I will forver have MikeFluke as my BB ghost ship

I can say the only thing about this episode that made me slightly upset The brother being upset that Cher is dating Gun, Cher never dated the sister and she's one so why does it matter if he's moved on. You don't want him in your business and usually don't care about what he does but suddenly your upset. I guarantee he's dealing deugs and gamling , he either owes debt or dealed some drugs so he could pay back Cher. Cher doesn't deserve to be treated that way by him, hes done nothing wrong and constantly feels guilt because people blame him for stuff or he feels responsible. He complained about being treated like a begger but in reality all you do is ask for 100k , 300k like do you think he just has a load of money lying around for you. He's so ungrateful and for what . Saying that Cher only takes care of you because of your sister when not one has he mentioned her, he's always bailing you out by giving you money etc....and you throw a temper tantrum.
