I sure do love the start of the month - it's always awesome to see the shipment in the mailbox from my friends at Video Games Monthly. It's become a channel staple - an unboxing of mystery games where we have VGM to thank for sending us some fun.

Clearly the first sticker didn't include Luigi because Mario rode Yoshi to the castle to save Peach, and the castle is anyway full of toads. It's just the one player game. I really enjoy the juxtaposition of your excitement to get new games and the defeat when the gameplay comes up and the game kind of struggles.

Super spike/ Nintendo World Cup has some of the best music on the NES! I could listen to the World Cup title screen all day

Really awesome box Jay! Loved both those NES grabs. World Cup Soccer is a great game. Technos made some great games but everyone only thinks RCR. 🤷‍♂️ Hope your feeling better dude. 🤙🏻

I wanted to like 4x4 evo sooo much when it got it. It was fun in multiplayer and just messing around, but every time you upgraded your truck, all the ai competitors got the same upgrade. Mercs is cool.

Pretty solid packaging there guy 🤦‍♂️ I remember being with a friend while he purchased 4x4 evo 2 and he was so adamant that it was going to be Gran Turismo 2 but with trucks. Needless to say he was wrong lol

I know you don't work for VGM but! For my first time (subscriber for 1 year) I was sent a broken game. I could not get it to work. It was Driver for the GBC. I wrote to them telling me it didn't work. So they sent me a new game. This one was for the original xbox. It was "starsky and hutch". I was pretty excited about that. No clue what this game was about... it didn't work. I've tried cleaning it. It's just not working. I don't want to be the jerk guy complaining to them again. Should I just eat it and be happy I have a replacement case? Or should I reach out to them again?
