Hope Talon's dad knows it's not his fault and he did what he could. As someone who accidentally (non-fatally but badly) hurt another person years ago, I somewhat get the trauma and sense of guilt and anger at yourself over it, but a family member would be even more painful. Hope the guy knows stuff sometimes just happens and all we can do is learn and not be upset with ourselves for those things.

I too was wondering… I thought that maybe the tension between the parent may have driven them to breaking up - one blaming the other… but the go fund me seems to suggest that Jimmy (the father) is just as much involved as the rest of the family. Jimmy, it’s not your fault!

Anyone that has small children and ponds, lakes or swimming pools should watch this! I have known several families that have had tragedies with drowning issues!
@erinbosch5915 Жыл бұрын
Being from louisiana, there is usually at least 5 drowning deaths at my local rivers and lakes yearly. Many children. The worst one I remember was last year when a boy got caught in the river current that was unusually strong that day at a popular swimming hole... 3 men jumped in after him. All four of those poor souls were found a few days later. That's why I make sure to practice swimming with my kids every summer and remind them frequently to never get into moving water.

@@erinbosch5915 My supervisor drowned when she went into the ocean to save her son. She got into shore and then was swept away in front of her whole family she drowned! She was a lifeguard at that same ocean. You never know! Children can be drawn by a toy or one last jump into the pool! A friend's young son was missing one winter day. The police were called and walked around the house the back yard was fenced in. They asked what was inside the fence and they said a pool but it's covered. They jumped the fence and he had somehow gone on top of the pool cover and fell in. They had to rip the cover off to get to him but he was gone! They kept the gate to the pool locked but he found a space under the fence to crawl under! I worried when we had a pool.

Would love a follow up on this family periodically. I’m rooting for talon. I’ve seen some documentaries on people with this. Some people can suddenly start to regain some muscle control. There’s a guy who can speak and use a wheelchair now and has made incredible advancements. Other people who can now speak using speech devices. He’s young. His body and brain is quite literally still developing. I’d say maybe that might give him an advantage even perhaps.

Once again, you remind me to be so grateful for my life and how quickly things can change. It always amazes me how much more a person can want by just not knowing. Your videos teach me a lot on respect and different lifes, but most of all you teach me as a parent to not take a damn thing for granted with my babies. For example, I have never felt much fear for death, but I am so scared to not be around to protect my babies. Can't imagine the pain these folks feel. I hope whatever guilt they feel they can find gratitude in other forms.
