Man, I am definitely hoping there's a huge base roster but the sky's the limit with DLC. A modern Tenkaichi with Xenoverse 2's endless DLC of characters (seven years on and it's still getting DLC!) would be incredible.

And I was like 4 when I was introduced to the game my brothers are the ones who actually introduced me to it best day of my life. I absolutely loved that game and now that we know that we are getting another one. That’s just awesome I can’t wait to get this.

I am both happy and scared at the same time. Without a doubt, BT3 was my favorite DB game. I'm just a little worried about the Xenoverse/Kakarot-like gameplay. They do not need to change anything in this game other than improving the graphics. This game is unique and should remain so.

Yes!!!! I have been wanting this for forever! The Budokai and Tenkaichi games were my childhood and now a new one is coming?! Yes!!!! This was the best DBZ/S game they could have announced ^^ Hopefully it has a lot of characters like 3 had and a What If saga. The Tenkaichi games were the ones to promote What Ifs in DBZ games. Hopefully they appear in this again but using more DB or DBZ situations or Super situations. Heck even GT if they feel like it. Please don’t fail us new Tenkaichi game making team. Also give us Teen Goten. Justice for Goten fans!

Honestly my favorite part of the games was how deep they'd dig for units. If you're gonna have a fighting game focused on a single universe (like dbz), then you better have every character ever created canonically (even hypothetical ones), and between the games they did exactly that. Also, I know I'm coping about it by this point, but I do want manga only stuff like FP SSB Goku, a Zamasu legion survival fight, the God of destruction preliminary fight, etc. Maybe like an "alternate route" that splits the story between how things went in the manga vs how it went in the anime?

Now that i think about it..super, and maybe legends and FighterZ, and heroes characters, voices, animations, or even costumes could be or will be in the game but maybe the last 3 as DLCs due to how the video game industry is run now, no longer released with EVERYTHING in it, everything now is just main game and the thousands of DLCs that they get added to patches or extra goodies. And also, another thing i hope they keep is the fusions mechanic, like if Goku or Vegeta have specific costumes or you can pick in the character selection menu which type of fusion you wanted you could fuse the characters or like if Goku or Vegeta have the normal Super outfits they can fuse into Vegetto, or if they have the Broly movie outfits they can turn into Gogeta, or hell if you have Z, GT, or Super Hero Goten and trunks you can turn into Gotenks for Z, skinny Gotenks for GT, and Fat for Super Hero, and for merged Zamasu to become corrupted after receiving s certain amount of dmg
