I was kinda hoping a new park bench would pop-up after Tom's retirement. Some of these were kind of like a behind the scenes/additional details about filming some Tom Scott videos so a debrief after 10 years of weekly posting would have been neat.

A LOT of viewers care about regular uploads. For many people, knowing a new video will be there at a certain time is an important and motivating part of a weekly/monthly schedule, and a reason they'll like a certain channel.

I must admit, the empty bench at the end made me tear up a little. The Park Bench has helped me through an incredibly dark period in my life, and I'm so incredibly grateful for that. I am such a park bench addict. I need random KZbin to comfort binge, and both this and citation needed function as that for me. I have gone through your backlog again and again, and even though I wish it would keep growing at a consistent rate, and I love that I actually have a KZbin channel that uploads on Saturdays (why doesn't anyone else do that?) it's not like I'll forget you guys exist anytime soon.

I always thought of myself and my friend being a little like you guys, I've always been fascinated by science and why the universe is the way it is, and other oddities the world has to offer. It got to the point where, when we sat down on a park bench I said: "Hi there, this is Matt, and I'm Tom, and this is the park bench". And he looked at me with a look of "wtf". It was then I began calling him Mini-Matt. So I had to explain. And it's been going ever since, wherever we are, what ever bench, we introduce the start of the video. Hey, call us crazy but thats just us. We may even be how you started out, just with our colours reversed. I hope one day you find this comment in a solitary part of the internet waiting to be found, and who know's, by then we may be as popular as you. And you can safely say: "We started that. We made them". And so ends this small anecdote in what is sure to become the confines of the deep and untouched part of the web we call the comments section below, and I hope you have a really great day.
