To those who've called it cursed, most often I see it shown in regards to just the general broad strokes and definitely disagree there. It's just a very non-European language, seemingly doing the opposite of what most IE languages do, which most conlangers are exposed to before any other languages as it's a very English and IE language dominated hobby at this current moment. There are definitely aspects that are cool and stretch the sense of "wait could this happen", but in the same way natural languages do that.

Very well made video and very well made conlang. I'm very intrigued and would like to see more on this eventually.

This is really good! A really solid entry to the CCC, but also it feels like something that could possibly exist irl.

its only here to be disqualified for not being cursed.

Y'all better appreciate my pronunciation skills there at the end-/j Jokes aside this is so cool to see Mountain being showcased! I remember seeing it in its early days years ago, and to think then that I would be watching and participating in a showcase of it 4 years later would've been so surreal. Congrats, Soton!

Maker of Sinostisese here (actually my primary account): This indeed is a cool language. :') Never knew about applicatives before this video. Really cool, 'specially to the degree you've applied them here. Work of art. :)

mountain's applicatives behave differently then most languages with applicates. But theyre very useful feature to have.

I am one of the individuals calling it cursed. A "dative" applicative is indeed cursed.
