My brother told me about this video and I just had to check it out. Seeing it brought back great memories of when my family & I lived there, especially the photos from Alanton Elementary and the Alanton Pool. The entrance sign also gave me flashbacks, it was just generally a great place to live.

Fun fact, Venable Lane used to be named Maron Lane. My parents, with the support of the garden club, engaged the city to change the name to Venable in honor or Mrs. Kyle. Cheers!

I lived in Point O' Woods 1966-70 from age 12 to 16. Many, many treasured memories from those days... Thanks for the video!

We have great memories of growing up in Baycliff in the 70's, swimming on the swim team, my brother set the forest on fire there (accidentally), crabbing in the bay with a chicken neck tied to a string, fireworks on the 4th of July, attending Alanton Elementary and lots of bike riding and sailing. Thanks for the video history.
