I know this is only supposed to be a very brief overview but you missed out some really important milestones in the history of modern anaesthetics. The replacement of flammable ethers with newer volatile inhalational anaesthetics such as enflurane and halothane in the mid 20th century was a big development in terms of safety and efficacy and definitely should've been mentioned. I'm very surprised you didn't mention the use of barbiturates as anaesthetics as they were used extensively and represented a major breakthrough in the intravenous induction and maintainance of anaesthesia. They are still used for this purpose today (albeit less frequently as propofol is preferred).

The first anesthesia providers were Nurse Anesthesiologists. MDAs have forgotten that.

Oxi 60, soma, xan bar, and nitrous oxide, if they get frisky, another dose of soma, and if they get real frisky hit them with the ether, and a lpw dose of morphine

Ether and oxi 60, with a couple hits of nitrous, and a soma with a half a xanny bar, 300mg edible. 100mg cbg and 100mg cbd edible.
