Jacqui was the main reason why I used to watch. She was so abrasive that the friction started fires everywhere. This provoked great story lines. I hope this means we will be seeing a lot more of her. If I remember rightly, there is unfinished business with Tony, for a start. My former girlfriend had friends in common with Claire Cooper in about 2000, well before Hollyoaks. She said that Claire was very slim and wiry but was really good at arm wrestling because she had been a gymnast.

Seeing the old clips remindes me how much better classic hollyoaks was. It has a proper following, more realistic sets for example the McQueen house and gritty, daring storylines; sometimes farfetched but never as ridiculous as today’s standards. Suppose we live in different times now but my god bring back the 00s style hollyoaks! It was the talk on everyone’s lips back in the day.

Oh my OA I’m so glad to see Jacquie back in Hollyoaks I so missed her. I know I may have been a fan since 2016 (and a fan of Days Of Our Lives since 2021) but still I do remember some of these characters. But I just wonder what were Jacqui, Mercedes, Michaela and Myra doing at the mall and pretending to be pregnant? Also what was she doing there in Mexico at the bar? I really also don’t understand why she’s also dressed up like a nun I know most of you don’t think she really is one but I do wonder why she’s dressed like a nun. I really wish she came back to the village along with Cher, Cleo, Michaela and Myra I miss all the McQueen’s they’re my number one favorite bada** Family in the village. 😊

I remember when Jacqui, Mercedes, Michaela and Myra went shoplifting with fake pregnancy 🤰bumps as seen in this video. I'm guessing she isn't returning permanently, but if she does then they should bring back Mandy as a recast as I miss her and Jacqui's love rivalry over Tony.

Unfortunately, they aren't bringing jacqui back permanently, but they are bringing back mandy as recast. I think it's roxy from eastenders coming to play her!! Roxy would've been better in hollyoaks as a tough cookie, and mandy was weak! Also, if mandy and jacqui where back together I don't think there would be a love rivalry between the 2 I think the love rivalry would be between jacqui and Diane as jacqui left while still in love with Tony and Tony has always loved jacqui, plus it was Diane who he got pregnant which is why he couldn't leave with jacqui!! She'll definitely still have a few feelings for Tony because she was in love with him when she had to leave!!

I just miss Mandy so much as she was such an important and iconic Hollyoaks character that I was angry when Hollyoaks bosses sacked her actress Sarah Jayne Dunn because she opened up an only fans account and then they justified her sacking by claiming they were protecting the young adult fan base Hollyoaks has. It came across as hypocritical because she previously posed for sexy pictures for official Hollyoaks calendars 📆 and they also allowed her to do top shelf magazines. Hollyoaks bosses obviously thought she was doing pornography when she had explained to them that only fans isn't pornographic. She should've pointed that out to them I think.

Recasting Mandy is the worst idea! As Sarah played her for sooooooooooooooo many years, nobody else will be right as Mandy now. That's like recasting somebody new as Tony, Darren, Cindy, Mercedes, Warren etc. It just doesn't work!!!!

@@charlalar14 I see what you mean charlalar14 and you're right. I still think however that the Hollyoaks producers were wrong to sack her over only fans. Clearly they didn't realize they were being hypocritical and just assumed that only fans is pornographic, when they allowed her to do top shelf magazines and had her pose for the official Hollyoaks calenders 📆. Maybe if they apologize to Sarah Jayne Dunn and reinstated her as Mandy and they allowed her to continue with her only fans material that would be good news to Hollyoaks fans but I doubt she would want to return after they sacked her.

How are they going to fit such a loved and long term legends story into 1 episode???? The fans arent gunna be just ok with her helping mercedes. They will want to know what shes been upto, and what about phoebe? And carmel? Will she even have time to talk about them as she loved phoebe!! Theres too much for her to catch up on in the village im not saying they should be bringing her back permenately but they need her for atleast like 5-10 episodes or something. Sometimes im not about them bringing back old characters who have had their time in the spotlight! Also been on it for a long time like i know there legendary characters but hollyoaks are finally giving other characters a chance to show what there capable of and there giving the kids in the show more parts. Like leah, lucus, charlie and ella and their friends are all a little click and they've gave us a good few storylines before like charlie with the drugs, Vicki's boyfriend murdering saul, ella murdering jordan and charlie taking the blame. Then mandy manipulating charlie to protect ella and trying to get him charged. They have a chance to be really good characters like jacqui was i just think we need to give them a chance there only young and i think theyve done good so far. Lets hope hollyoaks carry on giving big parts to the kids and teenages more often. Kids are sometimes better actors than adults some kids who are on shows and movies in america are amazing! The young ones in hollyoaks just need a chance!!
