Lessons In Meme Culture also made a video about him. In the comments, npesta stated that because the 2.1 Awards were coming out ON THAT SAME DAY he really wanted to get the level out. He also said in one of his recent streams that at the time there was also some tension in his family and when he just randomly beat Kenos he just let it all out in one big emotion storm.

Coming back to this video, I've realized how much Npesta has actually done for GD. He basically revived the community and the game. Without him, Riot would also not have his channel back. (Riot said that the #freenpesta movement gave him a chance to do a #freeriot which got his channel back up.)

Then there was also a mini-controversy where Combined ended up verifying his version of Kenos back in September, leading to some people getting angry at him for "stealing the level".
