A brief history of Wat Saket | A guide to The Golden Mount (Bangkok)

In this video, we visited Wat Saket, often referred to as The Golden Mount Temple.
This temple has a storied & somewhat grim past that spans centuries. Located on the only hill in Bangkok Wat Saket provides stunning views over the city & is well worth a visit.
The entrance fee is 100 THB and it's only a short walk up 344 steps (it's easier than it sounds) to get to the top.
You can get to Wat Saket via MRT by getting off at Station Sam Yot, from here it's a 15-minute walk or you can jump in a taxi, Tuk Tuk or motorbike taxi.
