Hi I use an open face all the time on my Harley I have a few half helmets I bought in America but mostly use my 3/4 HJC helmet for longer distance rides as it covers my ears… In winter use them with buffs … ridden over 30 000 km across the USA all with open face helmets everywhere even got snow once but prefer the openness and use a buff if it gets cold… hope this answers your question
