I went to camp with Eddie Clute (Adirondack Woodcraft Camps - in Old Forge, NY) and can still remember sitting in the lodge at age 13 listening to Eddie play the piano. So this brings back a wealth of memories. All Eddie had to do was hear the tune and he could play it completely. A friend of mine, Johnny Brill, who also went to Woodcraft told me about this utube entry and I am so happy to hear that Eddie is alive and doing well.

Ed was my husband Bill Roberts' close friend when growing up in Watkins Glen NY. We also knew and loved his sweet wife Nana. It's a real delight to see Ed here and share some of his successes. He's a gem and so are his jokes. We love you Ed. Keep on tickling those ivories and the next time I see you, have the Scrabble board ready. Thank you for your sweet call today and Happy New Year from Bill and me.

My husband and I talked with Ed today as we played the slots. Life gets in the way and we were dealing with a frozen/burst water pipe, a deer colliding with our truck, and life in upstate NY. Ed was a charming, funny and engaging man, and wish he knew how much better he made our day today. A true charismatic, awesome, genuine human being. Sure hope we run into him again and maybe I'll be winning at the slots then. Special person that cares about others. Yes, Ed you turned the day around for us. Thank You.

What an entertainer! In addition to being a great pianist, he's a got a schtick about being blind! Who knew Victor Borge had some blind competition. 😂
