I love the idea of this event, but it reminds me of public events in D1, extremely rare and nobody was ever around for them. To be there when the walker dropped *AND* have other guardians around to help was like winning the lottery: you stand a better chance of being struck by lightning

Also, this event is akin to lost sectors but new content. You have a 90% chance to get an exotic you don’t already have, and it’s any armor slot in the day, not just legs or chest etc. So it’s probably going to be busy for a long time, same as lost sectors are now. Edit: Guess I should clarify, it’s a 100% chance for an exotic with a 90% chance of getting one you don’t have already.

And the walker was also set to go off at 15 min till the next hour so 3:45 4:45 etc so that one was easy to plan once people realized it was set times

@@StevenHawkingsSpitrag To Clarify... its 100% Chance for an Exotic and 100% Chance to get an exotic which you dont have. If you have all exotics the chances of getting the specific one you want will drop to less than 10%.

Came to say this still works brilliantly 7 months later (in season of the wish). Joined the Discord, Bot pinged me after about 10 min, joined the event with about 5 other platers, beat the event in less than 10 min and got an exotic (pyrogail gauntlets) im trying to aquire the Abeyant leaps so Im going to do as many of these today as I can. Unfortunately, discord notifications are usually late and the bot itself ends up sending notifications minutes after the incursion was already active. It sucks.

I mean, the fact that they locked new expansion exotics behind a fucking solo challenge where enemies CONSTANTLY hide like CoD kids... that has to be one of the MOST asinine things I've seen a gaming company do in years. What was the point? People acquiring gear they need for builds they find online shouldn't be that difficult. A large investment of TIME is alright, but this is just crap. I feel like they got that bright idea from the moronic streamers who think everybody should be playing D2 19 hours a day like they do.

No wonder I've gotten more exotics and catalysts recently! 😂 I think I've had some people from the disc spawn in where I am. I've been alone trying to fight then all of the sudden there's warlocks and titans everywhere. Groups make this cake for someone who is new or really sucks like me.

Strike Force is SUCH A GOOD EVENT. I genuinely get excited when I see it and it just feels rewarding to beat the bosses and get an exotic you actually need

the DO happen where there are Terminal overloads.. just had one.. where this event overlapped the TO.. what a mess that was EDIT. Ok so my very first event was at 12:50 .. and the daily reset is at 1pm .. so thats why both events occurred at the same ( relative) time

Gating exotics like Necrotic grip behind a solo challenge is ridiculous. Just my honest opinion. The RNG was bad prior, but I'd revert back to that in a heartbeat, even for newer ones. It's so stupid, you need a good build to clear this nonsense, meanwhile some of the REQUIRED gear pieces for many builds ended up locked behind solo Legend Lost Sectors for years. And yeah, I've farmed them, I'm not whining that I can't do it, I just think it's the most asinine thing I've seen in a game since I played EA titles.

FYI if Terminal Overload is in the Vex Incursion zone than VSF does not occur till the next daily reset. Still haven’t been able to get one even using the Discord :(
