This defense was built on attacking the line of scrimmage. When they can't do that the secondary gets exposed. That's what Houston did. The took deep drops, misdirection and got rid of the ball quickly and it took the Browns defense out of attack mode or they beat the attack. This was very similar to what the Rams did to us. It doesn't make them bad but the offense has to give them a chance to adjust.

@@galaxyvulture6649 it probably would have been but it spiraled out of control when the Browns lost their starting left guard and their starting right takle who was actual a third string right takle. Then two pick sixes pretty much sealed it. This lead to failed 4th down conversions and a short field for the Texans. You can tell it was bad because the Browns were just running the ball trying to run down the clock trailing in the 4th quarter. The injuries were too much to overcome at this point and Flacco was making it a point of passing to the other team.

65 year old life long Browns fan I have witnessed Red Right 88, The Drive, The Fumble, Bernie being shipped out of town, the team being shipped out of town, and more near miss situations than one would think possible. Always a tremendously admirable effort that falls a step or two short. This year I watched Miracles and at the same time I watched Tom here. I learned about Ref on the take, as well as Demonic interference. But what he failed to report is that my valiant Browns fell on the knife for the good of the world. That's right the Stroud's threatened at halftime to do to the sun what they did to the moon. The Browns chose to let the psychopaths in Houston win rather than lose the Sun. We miss the moon. If you have ever lived in Northeastern Ohio you know how rare it is to see the sun already. So the world should celebrate the saving of the sun by the team from CLE. As a Bengals fan (loved that tiny part btw) who hates the Browns and was already starting to love the Texans, those pick-sixes in particular gave me so much joy and laughter that it almost (key word: almost) made up for Cincy missing the playoffs. Admittedly my dad, who pretty much loves every Ohio sports team more competent than the Blue Jackets, hated every moment of this game, but being an OSU fan, he at least likes seeing Stroud succeed.

After winning against 49ers and Colts thanks to Refs I knew our season was over especially after Watson out after Colts. Flacco revived it and it was exhilarating as we could of very well had a far more disappointing season. Browns Defense is the worse in the league when on the road and honestly I never was sold on the "Browns Defense could win us a super bowl" because of that stat.

Pain. All I feel is pain. I knew Flacco was due for a "shit the bed" performance, and I wasn't one of those delusional fans thinking that we were gonna walk in and blow the Texans out, but holy shit, dude. At least we can finally stop that sports talk nonsense about there being a QB controversy next season between Flacco and Watson. I wish it didn't have to be like this, though.

Other than the 2 ints Flacco didn't play bad. What killed Cleveland was the defense playing like trash went from a top 3 arguably the best defense to a bottom 5 kinda performance.

In my opinion, if you throw two pick 6s, on back to back drives, nonetheless, that automatically disqualifies you from claiming that you had even an okay game. You're spotting 14 points to the opposing team, that you've already been having trouble stopping with the abysmal defense you trotted out. And yeah, the defense was absolute garbage. I felt like that was obvious enough that it didn't need commenting on, though. Everyone on that defense, aside from JOK, should be made to walk back to Cleveland to reflect on the putrid display they put on that they called "defense."
