Glory to God I needed this Pastor Lawson. This brings to mind when I first began going to Church I was seeking men to show me the way. I didn't realize I was on level ground seeking the Lord as they were seeking the Lord. I'm beginning to understand how important it is to listen and to follow God's words and try not to pay attention to the occaisioal unkind actions or the unkind words of those like me who are in desperate need of the Lord. I love Pastor Lawson, hes a well balanced pastor. Sure, he preaches the feel good stuff, he'll read passages that both magnify the Lord and build you up, but he also preaches on hell, repentance, holiness, he proclaims Christ and no other. He pulls no punches with the Word of God and the Gospel.

I've felt like a bruised reed in Christ for a long time now its gotten worse but I refuse to give up. Those battles do get so hard so intense that I'm amazed im still here❤ God is Good but some people just so darn mean even in churches too many narcissistic people :'( Jesus is the only way im not ashamed of Jesus. I choose to be a comforter and motivator even though I'm a bruised reed 2 corinthians 1. The broken bruised reeds for christ just have a different walk in HIM THAT OTHER BELUEVERS most likely won't be able to wrap their minds around it. Misjudged most days and it just adds to the brokenness this type of Christian feels. I try to put on a face for people but it's hard to hide the pain I've been through and feel daily. Knocked down but won't stop getting up. And why should I ever be prideful about it theres no use in being that way not even if your gifted in ways. Some are so prideful and selfish in themselves you can't move em they don't care :'(.

🙏I love this sermon and listen to it often. I sent it to our pastor and an elder in Hope's they would do a sermon similar and about bruised reeds but now their hurt. people are hurting and need comfort, and need warning jesus is coming and need strong sermons..was I wrong to try and awake them?? my church family is precious and so is our pastor but they dont wanna hear about the rapture or the many events happening. I need some godly input on this..🙏thank you.

Sometimes the truth hurts, you weren’t wrong in trying to wake them. I can assure Jesus wouldn’t have worried if it hurt them or not, telling them the hurtful truth is better than telling a comforting lie. God Bless!🙏
