I get celestia being able too because she's been alive longest of the four. Heck I can by that Luna can willingly shapeshift back and forth between nightmare moon and her actual self because she's likely just using a bit of dream magic and illusions. but Twilight? Heck.. Next you'll be telling me Cadence can use that transformation spell like Queen cheeslegs over there. Ok Discord knowing what the potion does and how it resonds to only alicorn magic? I can see that. But I'm still stuck on how the hell twilight is mastery of dark magic. Heck we see in season 9 she's able to completely negate sombra's dark spells like a boss. That I can buy because she's had that long to adjust.. Season four? Either this is complete bs or she did exactly what sunset did and celestia never bothered her about it. Though there's something I never thought I'd ask... Given how sombra's magic left a deep scar on everyone else even when he was gone.. Is it possible that maybe she was exposed to a lot of it and had to learn to control it when celestia saw the warning signs? That actually would tie things up nicely... Too bad it's just a thought.
