It may have been shortish but I loved it and the ring was beautiful. I have to admit to falling asleep before the end and have only just remembered. Yes the frilly metal thing was a paper fastener as others have said. Loved the end bit keep bits like that coming please. Stay safe all of you.

Thats an arrowhead! They often get chipped and broken and that's why they are discarded by the hunter. Nice find.

Sherd stories was very thought provoking again ladies. What a man. The people he helped im sure, were very greatful for his food. Somewhere warm to get a good meal. Its a shame he died of a heart attack. Too many puddings maybe. Or the eventual stresses of expansion of his business 🤔 To find a full wearable ring was fab to see. I was absolutely amazed that you found a replica. How amazing was that. Any idea how old the replica ring was. It might give you an approximate age of the found ring. What with it being stamped? 😂 The out take. ❤x

Kate I love how you look bright and cheery! The sweater.. I call it/jumper you call it.. is very nice..just the color for you. I love those kinds the patterns are so pretty. Too bad you and 5 yr old prince couldnt get a picture made together! His "jumper" was very handsome and the colors of both yours and his would be a great match up. I know you must have had alot of fun finding your cute earrings. Enjoyable to hear Fleur laughing. Glad she found a cool marble and you a bucket lister.

Congrats on your lovely ring, Kate! I noticed when you picked up the white bead at the nine : fourteen timestamp, Fleur. In view of the camera, there was a tan colored, rather odd-looking egg-shaped (rock?) with a deep oval-shaped indentation and a tiny hole, which was seemingly carved intentionally and directly in the middle of it. It sat to our right, perched up as if waiting to be noticed. Interesting enough to take a look. ( :

The flat disk with the scalloped edge looking like a flower may be the turning piece for an oil lamp. The part you found is rippled on the edge, making it easier for your fingers to turn it, so you can raise and lower the wick.

Who'd have thought this sherd story would tie in with one of your others, and what a unique snap shot of the past ... Mr. Pearce definitely very cool. The flint piece does look worked at the edges, and too specific a shape, though I think it might have been broken along the way at the bottom hence looking like but, not sure if it is an arrow head ..still think its a tool. The one side has definite facets from striking of material, the other side not, possibly a scraper. P.s. hope you don't mind me saying that the term from flint napping is "bulb of percussion" not bulbous 😉 Interesting that ring, is it a typical celtic design ? hence often used ? Great excursion out with you two lovelies as always... many thanks.
