It sure would be nice if the Target Retention skill kept locks wouldn't it... then it might actually be a useful skill.

It would be even nicer if PGI would simply allow Streaks to dumpfire like they do with LRM and ATMs.

@@phelanwolf6747 I've advocated for that as well, though it's part of the lore that they can't dumbfire. I think that's a piece of lore worth breaking with. Another possibility would be to have Target Retention extend lock time by 1 second per point within 200m. Allowing it to hold locks indefinitely within range as my comment suggests might cause pathing issues with missiles being able to fire more than 90º off centerline.
