No driver would get fired for that. For starters - they are REQUIRED to help disabled persons on and off the bus, as well as secure those passengers once on and as they're getting ready to leave the bus. Not helping them is a violation of the law - it would be considered discrimination otherwise. In those weather conditions, at most he might receive a warning,.
