A busy evening at Douglas Harbour, Isle of Man. Featuring L' Austral, Ben My Chree and Arrow

On an unusually fine evening I headed to Douglas Head primarily to capture Ponant's cruise ship L' Austral (Which has its own video see here • L'Austral at Douglas I... ) before it departed Douglas.
However it was such ideal conditions and there was plenty of other action with the local Isle of Man Steam Packet Company's ships Ben My Chree and Arrow in motion and local fishermen returning home I had to shoot more. So here is the extended version.

@@vmax8481 I was and am Australian and returned after the death of my partner. Aside from that it got too cold and in retirement I wanted the warmth of the Queensland sun!

Thank you so much! Beautiful island! Beautiful film! When I'm tired I watch Douglas harbour through the official cameras on both piers (King Edward and Victoria Queen). I wirte it in December 2020... the Mannanan rarely comes out - probably because of Covid. And it seems to me that the lighthouse at harbour has not been lit recently, which is a pity ... Greetings from Poland!

Thanks Florian glad you enjoyed and Merry Christmas. Manannan rarely goes out after october owing to the restrictions on wave height. True that earlier in the year there were far less sailings too due to covid travel restrictions.. Ben my Chree is our lifeline bringing freight and food so still in full scheduled service but obviously with less passengers. Hope you will enjoy some of my other videos.
