"A Cacophony of Cats" - Remembering the Transpennine Class 68s

Here is some phone video footage of Transpennine Class 68s at work at the following locations:
Liverpool Lime Street, Edge Hill, Wavertree Technology Park, Manchester Victoria and Huddersfield.
At the end of the presentation, there is some additional video of Class 68s working on Chiltern Railways at Leamington Spa and at London Marylebone.
The sound of these locomotives will I think remain in the minds of many who enjoyed them whilst they lasted. Enjoy!

I live next to the line pretty much if the wind was blowing right I could just hear these idling at Lea Green and hear them accelerating towards us (can hear 185s too) by far the loudest locos that passed when they were on Chat Moss recorded one at 95dB the industry limit is 87dB they were nearly loud enough to start hurting.
