How do you know you are saved.it sounds like boosting who knows if the spirit goes up or goes down.im just saying how do people know the day the min they are saved I say you were always saved from the womb so that no man can boost of his own works.cause I have a feeling your gonna say you got up and said a prayer or got baptised and wala by that choice and work you did you were saved. And this is with love no disrespect. I myself am a believer of Christ. I would like to hear your thoughts on this subject. All glory to GOD the father,GOD the son,and GOD the holy spirit. Trinity

Brandon Judd you know you are saved when you literally have a relationship with jesus, and you cannot enjoy sin like you use too. many americans and others think they are saved by repeating a prayer or praying once or twice. and you cannot be born saved. there are many prophets that fell away after being saved. salmon was a horrible man but had great works. there was also a prophet that was saved and killed himself later in his life. Its funny how churches baptise kids now, like how can a 8 year old know what hes doing and be ready to change his life, but false preachers are the punishment of god on a dead church.

The Lord used this vid to help bring me out of alcoholism and back into a relationship with Christ about 4 years ago. I used to listen to this over and over and just sob. I'd never heard of David Wilkerson at that point. I'm 3 years sober now and ministering to prison inmates and drug addicts here in Australia. Watched it again for the first time in a very long time tonight and again was moved. Thank you Lord for your mercy and love for me. Thank you for restoring my life to one with meaning and purpose. I understand what you are saying. We think we are the only one because we don't see the same from others. I've questioned at times if it is my own emotion, but it isn't. I would weep at the altar in churches because of the Spirit of God and see none do anything but continue in cold indifference. I've been told to leave before and soon after the church goes off the deep end or closes. Horrible outcomes for the people there. Anyway, I know exactly what you were saying. God has told me He has others spread out, we are who He can use to protect and provide for whole communities, towns and cities. Our intercession that He leads us in gives Him place and restrains darkness just by our obedience and being there, a point of Light, like a lighthouse. He has His everywhere, spread out, but covering with prayer wherever they are. It hurts so bad sometimes to feel the heart of Jesus, so bad my flesh cannot endure it.

To discern David Wilkerson. One must be walking close with God. David preached the gospel till the day God took him. Very few people had the guts to reach gang lords on the streets of new york. He reached many for the gospel. It saddens my heart to see so many who have a religion but cannot discern when God speaks through men like David. The church is loved by God and always will be. But mediocrity has become common place. David was a prophet. They have and always will be questioned. But wisdom is justified by her children.

You must remember that Jesus did not preach the same way all the time, there were times he would be very gentle, calm and times when he would sharply rebuke. So if he lives in us, though we are many, there are preachers who preach like brother Wilkerson, and there those who will mostly rebuke sharply when they preach. As long as the message is the same( no twisting, flattering, taking away or adding to the gospel) , it is all about the effectiveness of the word on the hearer. Where have the anointed preachers of God gone? Why are they slowly fading? When will men look at men like Wlikerson, and stop worrying about their churches size, and focus on the hearts of the congregation? The church is slowing being consumed with carnality, because our preachers constantly sugarcoat the message. It's time to stop worrying about everybody's feelings, and start preaching the raw gospel, no matter how much it hurts. "Swords aren't made in hammocks, they're made on anvils, tested by fire" - Carter Conlon

+BigDaddyAlanR I never said to not share the Gospel with unbelievers, that would be completely unbiblical. What I said was to stop worrying about how many chairs you fill up in the church, and start worrying more about how the condition of the congregations hearts. If you neglect to tell people the raw Gospel of God, you will no doubtably get more people due to America's ridiculous emphasis on people's feelings. The Pastor should be worrying about the Quality of the church, not the quantity. But like I said, Sharing the Gospel is absolutely vital, but even more so is keeping the Gospel firmly in the hearts of congregation

Yet people can't seem to believe that there is evil running amuck. When I see all the suffering now and to come it breaks my heart. There is no need for it all we have been given it all and squandered it with greed as the people turned away from God. Love one another, take care of each and everyone. Everywhere in the Gospels it says so. The book of Acts covers this as well. The question is what are you willing to lay down. Does it mean turning off the TV, does it mean asking the Lord to help with addictions, or is it you haven't forgiven yourself. He is extending his offer to you today...We all do terrible things (sin) that cause us to be given the death sentence. We are enemies of God. But Jesus is God who came to earth and lived a perfect life, and died even though he didn't deserve it, and was raised from the dead, so that he could credit his good life to us who would accept it. You can be seen as innocent before God, and not condemned to death, if you accept his sacrifice in your place, and make him the Lord of your life; which means turning from practicing sinful things and accepting him and his way as the highest priority. Praying you'll consider this; it's a matter of eternal life and death.

Amen, I was straying from God for some time and didn’t do anything. Then God in His loving kindness and ocean of pure hearted Grace, drew me back in love and discipline. Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I've heard this sermon a handful of times over the past 5 years, and never does it cease to draw me back into a place of compassion because of anguish.

This is one of the most soul stirring sermons I have ever experienced. I came across it 2 years ago when I first became a Christian and again today. I needed the reminder, brings me down to Earth, centers me. Thank you David Wilkerson.

Amen! Met David as a young child and my parents came to know Jesus thru the ministry of his uncle, John Wilkerson. My folks then became pastors and eventually missionaries to Africa thru the AOG. My parents supervised a Teen Challenge home for women in Silver Lake founded by Kenosha AOG while John Wilkerson was the pastor there. Prophet David! A man with a huge heart after God. Many have come to the Kingdom through his lifes ministry.
