I've passed on your video to two of the devs, friends of mine.

Interesting to know how accurate this game actually is. Which is "a lot", it seems. I've never been exposed to nearly as harsh conditions as the ones depicted in the game, thought I suspect wolfs are not as aggressive in reality. At least they should team up before attacking as big a prey as a human, wouldn't they ? But then it's more of a gameplay feature, which is okay as far as I'm concerned. Barring any zombie/enemy soldier/alien, you kinda need some opponents, right ? Regarding the snow depth, I take your point. Now if the game developer would take this into account, walking in the snow would slow you down considerably... unless they introduce snow rackets in the game ;-) And shades would be nice too, because then the developers could make the snow albedo impair your sight under sunny circumstances. Other than that I feel the tools (can opener, hatchet, rifle...) are decaying too fast. Maybe it's a property of the game being yet an alpha release, dunno. I'm also very curious as to how the game will evolve beyond the sandbox mode into some kind of adventure mode, with the geomagnetic storm arc story and all. At least it's a somewhat plausible way of destroying civilisation :-) -> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_storm_of_1859
