Danes appreciate its smooth, delicate texture, subtle sweetness, and nutty flavor. They often associate it with childhood memories and festive celebrations.
In contrast, many Indians find marzipan's almond base overly sweet and its texture too pasty. The lack of familiar spices or flavors adds to its unappealing nature. Moreover, Indian cuisine favors spicier, more aromatic sweets, contrasting sharply with marzipan's subtle sweetness.

Well, someone who lived both in Chandigarh and Mumbai. I can assure you It doesn't even come close to cities like Mumbai in certain aspects. Like, availability of exotic chocolates and candies. :)
