I came back to the game after a long time, played from the very start till th11, left the game till last year just after th16 came out so learnt about rushing and rushed from th11-th15 then just chillin for abit now and enjoying it, I enjoy both processes and the game!

A major issue about not upgrading heroes is that you're completely locked out of more complex strategies such as rocket loons and sui/zap Lalo which completely rely on your heroes/equipment

When you said get core defenses to 1 level off max so you can use as book or hammer, do you mean do this at every town hall, or just th17?

In this case th17, whatever the last th is at the time is the level you should upgrade to one level short

im rushed th13 with max walls and th9 level building, constantly overflowing in resources, im thinking about going to th14 to spend resources on pet house and not have my heroes perma down because if i dont im full dark elixir always

If you do FTP I’m not sure. I usually bought the gold pass and I got to the max TH strategically rushing in about 8 months
