For danjin 2nd passive (30% heavy atk dmg bonus after e3) you only need one resonance skill to proc it so: 3 basic > 1 kill > heavy.

Great Guide! Danjin got me right from the start with her unique ability and hasn't let go since. One of the most, if not the most fun character in the game. Especially her ability to 1v1 bosses is amazing.

Good guide Danjin best gurl 💅🏽 Pretty strong, pretty cute, pretty psycho 🧏🏼‍♀️ I play her with verina + beizhe Beizhe is waring moonlit set So if i can, u use verina (2 global buffs) -> beizhe (2 next char buffs) + bell -> danjin If beizhe isnt rdy, just verina -> danjin Its simlar to just verina + danjin but with a nice boost if rdy (and more heals of course, which is great because im solid but not insane good with her, so its bit more comfortable 😌)

​@GodgivenLeo haha I'm seeing it too, just realised the title isn't "A casuals guide to hologram destroyer: Danjin" I would say that Casuals guide : Danjin is the title, whereas Hologram Destroyer is the subtitle, perhaps - the former informs, the latter sells you on the idea of Danjin. The former would work best in plan, formal casual style - so that people whonare looking for information pick up on that first, whereas hologram destroyer would work best in evocative, pop-y style - an attentikn grabber. I still clicked, so the thumbnail did its trick! Ao don't stress the deets, and thanks for the guide!

You broke the idea down very well, that's pretty much what I had in mind ) I would've put the "hologram destroyer" part in the bottom-right corner so it would make more sense, but I didn't like how it looked there, so I opted out to putting it in the top-right corner and it might have caused a bit of confusion ahah

I just do Danjin-only but when I don't, I use Danjin+Jinhsi, just cause I like both, but i think the moves and such when played together is pretty cool. Changli's weapon is the ultimate Danjin weapon, with an R5 giving up to 112% Res. Skill Dmg. Bonus, +24% ATK, and Crit. Dmg. 44%ish

Danjin only is indeed also viable if you have invested in her fully and have a 5-star weapon, not for the later stages of ToA though, i don't think you'll have enough damage to clear for more than 1 star Using characters you like is the best way to play gachas, go for it! R5'ing weapons is gigawhale though, I doubt that a lot of people are invest that much money into weapons of all things :)

Danjin is insane, I didn't think I'd be dealing the damage that I was dealing in the video while at lvl 70 4-star weapon and with only 1 supporting character. It's a shame that she's not as comfy to use in the overworld exploration, otherwise I'd probably be a Danjin main lol

S6 Danjin is crazy good! I myself have not yet built Danjin properly as I'm saving up resources for Changli, but as shown in the video, I was able to defeat tempest mephis 5 at S3 and with level 70 4-star weapon & not fully developed talents. If you'll have the itch, then give her some more investment than that and every non-havoc hologram will stand no chance against her :)

The main reason i don't use Danjin is because she's essentially a glass cannon that's always leaking(hp) With my aggressive playstyle I'd keep dying lmaoo

I'd say that, on the contrary, Danjin very much prefers an aggressive playstyle! As a wise man once said: "you don't need hp if you don't get hit lol", and with Danjin it's quite easy to parry/dodge enemy attacks. That only applies for the bossfights though, in a scenario with multiple enemies, it does become much harder to play Danjin. P.S. the wise man in question is me

dont focus on bonus for Danjin. go for crit, atk% then flat atk. The other 2 sub stat can be heavy bonus or energy but dont put your effort on that

I may be coping, but I think dmg bonus stats should be worth it. ATK is universal and buffs all types of damage, so it should be built first, so ATK% is a high priority, but the higher UL we get, the less flat ATK will matter since the base stats get higher and % stats get better. At least that's what makes sense in my mind, if that is not how the game works, then I'm a bit sad lol Yeah, the simple heavy attack also has I-frames, but as you said, using it to dodge is almost impossible. And using it as an offensive option is a damage loss compared to getting your combos going. Only thing going for it in my mind is that it looks cool lmao

@@GodgivenLeo Simply say, Danjin prefers flat atk because her base atk is low (like all other 4star), her dmg is divided to many types and she has many dmg bonus buffs in her kit. In a team, Heavy occupies only 34.7%, Res skill occupies 27.3%, liberation 17%, echoe 11.2% and the rest is her basic + intro (from Prydwen). If you use her solo, like no teamates at all, her Heavy occupies more, depends on player skill, but no more than 40% in my opinion. About self buff from her kit, at C6, it gives overall 40% dmg bonus (as a debuff to enemies), 42% Havoc dmg bonus and 30% Heavy ATK bonus, which devalue any additional dmg bonus giving to her, and we're talking about Heavy ATK bonus specifically, which only occupies max 40% of her dmg. Keep in mind that Echoes set also gives 40% more havoc bonus. She does have 62% ATK self buff from her kit, which does devalue flat atk, but it's nothing compared to what I showed up there and due pretty low base attack, value of ATK% also decreases, which indirectly increases the value of Flat Atk. I do know that Atk% buffs from Verina and 2 support sets will devalue flat atk, but after calculated carefully, flat atk is still a little better (and I was pretty generous for Heavy dmg bonus by assuming we play the rotation perfectly).

This is "A Casual's Guide" after all, so deep theory-crafting is a bit out of my field of view most of the time lmao.

Practice makes perfect bro I've spent at least 3-4 hours maybe more trying to kill that mephis 5 hologram, I'd say it took at least 70+ attempts to beat it Simply play with her and you'll 100% get better!

@@GodgivenLeo I have an S5 lvl 70 danjin and a 5 star sword lvl 60 the emerald blade one and 4331 havoc echo not leveled yet And I can't beat the imperm heron lvl 1 😂😂😂 I can't even half HP it

That's because Impermanence heron has a huge havoc dmg resistance, so it's better to use another damage type to beat him :) Same goes for the Crownless hologram Other holograms like mephis, big monke and the mourning aix will be very much killable with your Danjin. I'd suggest you to level up your weapon to 70 and then you can clear them at least till difficulty level 5 for sure with some practice
