No they are floats for boat docks. The cement barrels likely held the shoring cables.

I am enjoying your video’s because we roam the Las Vegas desert. For the last 15 yrs near Sloan with my dogs and a 77 Scout International 4 by 4. I feel every bump, taste the dust, enjoy the smell after rain. Dusty truck, dog, me to clean up thankfully safe home; searching alone with a well equipped truck. Pretty cool my fellow Desert Rat.

that's a 1930s Coors can - one of the best places to find preserved cans is on lake bottoms - due to anaerobic environment - go find more! - you can find cans in far worse condition that are worth a LOT of money if they are a rare band - and they can be cleaned somewhat too - find more!

@lawrencejelsma8118 Жыл бұрын
@@scottcounts4185 ... Actually as an engineering standpoint in Las Vegas needing to maximize potential energy from flowing water into the dam network. The flow is potential energy drop of water mass at a height above Hoover dam to the height of Hoover Dam. There is still more height drop or pressure build up again after the Hoover Dam ... But enough in height of Hoover Dam release to height of Lake Mead to gain at least somewhat more turbines energy again? 🤔

Underwater oil or fuel storage??? Don't be ridiculous! You are looking at the floatation tanks and structure of what was once a pontoon raft, a mooring platform. And judging by the number of mooring anchor blocks scattered all around, that area was probably a small boat park.
