On the one hand, it is unbelieveably awesome to get these Stadler KISSes. On the other hand, it is never a happy occassion to watch a locomotive (or EMU or plane) make its final revenue run, and F40PHs will not be an exception.

It has enough power to operate the train from one end to the other. Not only that, but because of how electric trains are built. Because the rails and wheels are conductive, the power going into the motor gets grounded at the rails, completing a full electric circuit.
