Becket, I worked in Hollywood too for years...Capitol Records, Universal Studio, etc. One night at an after movie party in Beverly Hills, I walked around with my glass of champagne looking at all who were there..looking so sad. I couldn't figure it out..they had money, expensive cars, diamonds, etc...until I got saved during the Jesus Revolution in California. Wouldn't trade Jesus for all the money in the world...so you're testimony is so relatable to me. God bless you on your journey with HIM. You're in my prayers.

I love hearing Becket tell his story. The first time I heard it, I had been reading the books of Moses and about the priests of Levi. God said to the Levites "I am your portion," and the other tribes were given land. I would wonder about that, thinking the Levites were essentially getting nothing. But, after hearing Becket's testimony, it finally made sense. God Himself is their gift and they love Him more than anything tangible. His love is better than life and He is more satisfying than a feast (Psalm 63).

My mom was a commited Christian. Her prayers were finally answered as like Beckett I had an experiance of Jesus, the king of the universe. The life and reality of heaven hell was shown to me. I was molested at three and had a distant father figure. I believe the devil decieved me for a long time. Jesus is really the real deal. Ive come out of the lifestyle also.

Becket is so adorable, I can see my sis and I would have been friends with him in high school as we are around the same age. I hear you. My wife and I put our daughter in private school. We went to the school and talked with them and told how it would be a struggle financially. Amazingly they reduced our fee's. It was because our daughter was and still is, gullible. She's a lovely girl who wanted to help everyone and ended up being sucked into the drama. Hope this helps.

As a heterosexual trying to remain abstinent after divorce, your words really hit me about whether it's fair to deprive ourselves while others have spouses, etc. Honestly, I have struggled with that at times.
