Hi Katie, unfortunate about the traffic on your way to Kendal but nice you took advantage of the lovely weather on the return! Roanhead is a stunning place. We have seen the Naterjack Toad there! You may have heard about the ongoing attempts by developers to put a huge holliday park right on top of the beach! It would threaten all the local wildlife and flora and fortunately it has been refused but they have put in a further application 😢😢😢 There is a boardwalk leading from the car park to the beach so great accessibility for your chair. We did our regular trip to Canal Foot and Aldingham last Thursday! Watched the incoming tide and birdlife. We never did climb the 'Hoad'. Looks a slog. 😱 Now thats a novelty! Food served in a plant pot...looked tasty! Guess you have been watching England Katie....less said the better! Switzerland Saturday 🤞🤞🤞 Nice to see you enjoying the sunshine Katie. Hello, yeah there was traffic coming out of Barrow and then out of Ulverston all the way up to Newby Bridge and we would have missed my appointment even though we left in good time. It was lovely day had in the end. It’s beautiful isn’t it 😍 it’s been years since I last went. The new application is for a smaller site but I think it sounds good. There’s going to be a large pond thing which will be great for the wildlife. I think it sounds like a very small Center Parcs. The footpath is great isn’t it, I remember the last time I went, my wheelchair wheels had hot stuck in the sand 😂😂 oh the football, been like 🫣😂😂 have you?
