This is such an underrated classic to me. What makes it work is the orchestral elements and the melodies. A group this big should sound big, and that’s what The Ghost of Wind does well. My favorite part is the secondary hook, when they repeated a few words. It’s so effective because it’s over a constant uptempo rhythm with awesome strings, and it comes after a big chorus, keeping the energy and tempo stable

The secondary hook is good, I think I will be that guy and just say its the obvious reason to like it, the choir the strings, it's pretty epic way that they composed that part. It's such a cool and unique thing to hear

This is one of my favourite kpop sings actually. And I think their biggest hit. There's something very 80s about it with the orchestral aspect that reminds me of videos I used to watch on MTV as a kid. I haven't spent a lot of time on this group, I mainly stan some of the members for their careers outside of ZE:A. Your high note guy you replayed there is Park Hyunsik, a very popular actor and member of the famous Wooga Squad, a group of actor and idol friends, including V from BTS. Yim Siwan is one of my favourite actors and I was a huge fan of him well before I ever realized he was an idol. And Kwanghee is a variety show and MC staple. He is a ray of sunshine.

Ohh interesting, I did read into them a little bit, it kinda sounds like the label kinda fumbled the ball with them

@@Killdeer25 Seems like a common theme. I sometimes wonder how we've discussed how few legacy artists there are because everyone moves on fast. Like maybe the general audience wouldn't move on so quickly if the companies themselves spent more time nurturing the groups they have instead of abandoning them. I mean I'm no music exec but it seems like it would be more profitable to capitalize on an established fan base than taking a risk on a new group that may or may not catch on.

Those screams are loud lol. Second gen and early third gen groups changed concepts all the time. One comeback would be tough and the next would be totally cute. This is a great song btw.
