Where do you put the tv in the loft so you can watch

I'm not keen on having these three different exterior finishes. Inside, I'm also not keen on angled stairs when they could be avoided. The chimney/fireplace makes a bulky room divider. Upstairs, the master suite is elegant, and it could be divided to make a fourth bedroom. With just a few adjustments this could be a functional home for me.

I like it, although I do agree that the outdoors seating would need some kind of coverage against the weather, especially if you are in the U.K. like me, the loft bedroom is classy, but the sitting room 😢 why would you place a sofa opposite a half wall/ stairs, you couldn’t watch the tv comfortably if sitting on the sofa, hate having the front door open to the whole downstairs, what happens if … you’re picking your nose, cutting toenails or even having a quickie on the sofa and someone opens the front door??? 😅

There’s something unappealing to me about having a combination of stone, wood and metal on the exterior, particularly on a small home. I think it’s the stone color and had it been darker I might have liked it more? There needs to be some roof covering over all entryways. This protects wood flooring from wet shoes and boots. Upon entry into the home, the first thing I thought of was oh no, too small of a living area. It does have a somewhat open concept but yet it doesn’t have that light airy feeling. You also missed the opportunity of placing storage under the stairwell. This would even accommodate a coat closet and jacket closet. Although I like a two sided fireplace, I much prefer a wood-burning stove which heats a home more efficiently. In this case, it’s the fireplace that makes everything feel smaller. We see a decent size dining area and a functional kitchen, assuming the door off to the left near the first bedroom is a pantry. A wood-burning stove would fit nicely in the living room if the bookcase did not exist or were smaller. This would make this home feel much larger and warmer. The first bedroom downstairs is fine but small, so more appropriated to a child as long as there’s a second bedroom downstairs where in Adult can sleep. This guest bathroom associated with bedroom one is very nice and the laundry area is adequate, assuming the dryer is vented externally through the side of the building. And indeed, there is a second bedroom downstairs suitable for an adult, which you might call a master suite if that pocket door is kept closed. And exactly as I suspected, the master suite is definitely upstairs. I would much rather see a master suite downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. Of course I would keep the bathroom upstairs. Children should never be allowed to sleep alone downstairs when parents are upstairs. Totally unsafe in my mind. Thankfully, I have no children at home, but with advancing age, being upstairs would eventually change the pocket door bed and bathroom. Truthfully, this could be easily changed into a four bedroom home.
