I am one of the rare ones that, at 52, decided to get bees. Jumping right into it in northern Wisconsin.

Hello from Sioux Falls! When I was a kid here in SiouxFalls (the 50s) a high school teacher was our neighbor and he kept bees in his basement (huge old house). I was spellbound.

Ohh my favorite bees are the buckface bees, super friendly, great for winter, and superb pollinators. Bumblebees are pretty good for pollinating I would like to be able to have some whenever I have a vegetable garden of my own in the future! I wish there was a bee farm I could work at but in Utah it's really hard to find one surprisingly that is trying to find people.

I had the opportunity to spend an evening last spring (2021) helping Kelvin brother Brett Adele load out of the almonds. 7 or 8 loads one night. Crap. If there ever was a fine example of the " boss" man putting his nose to the grind and making stuff happen Brett is the man . Having your finger on the pulse of an operation is vital to making things successful. I can personally vouch that hese boys make it happen by being involved in the nitty gritty. Well done.

Is there such a thing as too much wax on a plastic frame? How will the bees handle a frame with a LOT of wax. Thanks. Also, do you sell wooden ware?
@PremierBeeProducts3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Jim! Great question. Generally speaking, the more beeswax on a frame, the better the bees will like it. However, when a cell fills with too much wax, the bees will need to work to remove some of that wax - which is slightly counterproductive. We do sell woodenware. If you are interested in pricing and availability, please call (605) 951-0267 and a member of our team will gladly help you out.

I wish you’d edit out that hokey typing sound you had to insert. It’s so distracting and totally sucks.
