Hi Brian, I didn't hear you mention the "business" part of the bathroom...being next to the kitchen, make sure the bathroom has a loud and powerful extractor fan as guests are generally self-conscious going to the restroom next to a hang-out area of the house. 😮😊
@shameronschofield868Күн бұрын
Yes no mention of a toilet or loo! 🤣

An extractor fan also helps to dry out the bathroom after you've taken a shower. Keeps off mold.

I woke up feeling absolutly down and miserable and teary this morning... reason being, I've been forced , one way or another , by the universe to sit still. First a nasty Bronchitis, directly after , a slipped disc, bedrest for another 8 weeks, I could finally get back to work, and immeadiatly streched a ligament in my ankle. However, watching little Lottie run to you with such Joy just did it for me. I still feel sorry for myself, but now I have such a nice smile on my face. Thanks for that, Brian...

Best mud room I ever had was an entrance from the side of the house toward the back. It had a bathroom on the left, boot and coat storage to the right. Straight ahead was washer/ dryer and then a door into the kitchen. It was great all year long, summer we had kids coming in from the pool, drop towels and suits into the laundry and in winter storage for all those outer layers and shower off the mud again straight into the laundry. I hope you design a set up that you love! Blustery snowy day here so I had my tree lit all day. I love just the lights, not a single ornament on it. 😂

I’ve got a lave-linge ‘top’ and it takes a full sized load. It also has a ‘gain de temps’ setting which takes every process down to the quickest and saves time and water. Very good. Very space-saving. Thank you for your Vlogs.

Short but oh so sweet Brian. Puppy won the race to get to you as if she wouldn’t. If you are thinking wet room with the plasterboard go with it and then you don’t need a door. Easier to clean up. Doors are a PIA. Now washing machine, my area of expertise. Small washing machine and towels isn’t a good idea. OK for guests to wash their undies or t shirts. Towels will absorb lots of water and may not wash and rinse sufficiently. No one likes biscuit towels. However much white vinegar you put in as softener and please not the actual softener stuff from thé supermarché . ❤❤❤🫶🙏🏻😳🙏🏻

Any vlog that includes happy dogs is an excellent vlog. Being included in planning was nice too. If I were young, healthy and had the budget for fixing up a house, I'd run the pipes in the inside wall, because even with insulation, that north wall might get too cold for pipes. (North America has extreme winters; I have reasons to fret about pipes.) We have those square top loading washing machines, but they're generally labeled "portable washing machines." I could have an opinion about a shower barrier, but if you just want a tidy place for visitors, ask your family for their preferences. But then, your Aunties will always suggest that you Call Your Mum. ;)
