So it really depends where the industry takes you. I started out as a baker and now I'm a head pastry chef. You really have to be passionate about what you're doing because there's alot of sacrifices you have to make. It's not an easy job there's long hours, hot environments and customers can just get on your nerves. But at the end of the day there's no industry like hospitality. We are the people that you go to when you're having a bad day, an occasion or just want something a bit different, so we're unqualified therapists. You'll never come across an industry that's so tight knit and at the end of it all you walk away with a family you never knew you wanted.

I was recently diagnosed with ocd and I didn’t realize until then that i’d been living with it my whole life. while watching this video, I was definitely thinking “hm I don’t want to suggest diagnoses for anyone, but I feel like she has a lot of ocd tendencies,” and then at the end of the video, she says “my ocd self”! assuming she meant she actually has ocd and isn’t using the disorder as an adjective, I’d love a future interview with her that touches more on that subject. I think interviews like that could make diagnoses like ocd less taboo and better represented (compared to cliche movies about people who constantly clean and organize and wash their hands)

I did say it’s my personal opinion I dont force you to agree with me and I don’t have to have same opinion as you. You don’t have to direct your opinion to me
@juneshao21413 жыл бұрын
@@AndamariPutri The reason you think OCD is a good thing is because it's likely that media portrayals have created an inaccurate meaning of OCD. I have a type of OCD called scrupulous OCD. This deals with religion, and every second of my day I'm hyperconscious about my surroundings. My brain feels like some haunting being that shouts obscenities and sacrilegious things every second, and a stream of "if you tap this and it doesn't feel like you tapped it correctly, bad things will happen." Besides being absolutely torturous to have to feel like every move you make can put you at odds with supernatural things, it's incredibly time consuming. People don't quite understand it because the emphasis on OCD has generally been on the outwards manifestation that may seem beneficial (being clean, organized, etc) rather than the inward thoughts that lead to the outwards manifestation ("if I don't wash my hands 10 times right now, I'm going to get HIV and die"). Look more into OCD and you will see it is not a good thing. You directed your opinion to someone else, so since this is the internet it is natural for other people to respond. Personally, I think if you are putting your opinion out there, it's also good to be open to new opinions and maybe learn more about what you haven't before :) Would recommend checking out www.reddit.com/r/OCD/ for more interesting anecdotes about OCD :)) Have a nice day! And I really appreciate if you read this.

March 4th, 2021 1:10 Same!! When I did that last year to listen to an album at its release time, I just loved the quiet ambiance of everything! How the sky was so dark and slowly filling with color, how the whole apartment is quiet, how I felt ready even when most people would be sleeping and how I get to view the area at a slow is just...lovely
