a very active left hand. . what seems at first to be arpeggiated chords really turns out to be some solid counterpoint when he gets to his destination note.. he is thinking with his left hand as much as with his right. . .

Thanks, Willy! The music sounds like one of tracks from "Let's" (Play the music of Thad Jones) with Jesper Lundgaard and Lewis Nash but the cover art is different. What edition is this? BTW, you are absolutely right - Tommy DOES do it best!
