When he said it can be random, I believe he was referring to a 1 match setting like Tekken Crash. It is much easier to get a read on your opponent when you play a set obviously.

hes got a couple of new moves that are awesome looking, but a few hit properties like his counter hit db+4 have changed that im not to sure about yet. (cant combo from it anymore) and i think qcf+2 but i think it just something to get used to and itll be fine :) cant wait to try him out

I meant that aspirant players wouldn't know who's the rival's character when they're customized beyond recognition (and sometimes stupidly too I might add) since they don't know characters so well, but I didn't said it in a bad way or anything like it. I've been playing Tekken for decades, so I think I'm allowed a little constructive criticism once in a while ;) Maybe you should interpretate before writing a reply, instead of trying to sound smart by pointing out nothing but air.

I didn't meant like they should ban them or anything. Just that it would be much greater to have many more different clothing options instead of dorky-looking suits and accesories. They are really going for the comical factor. Not there's anything wrong with it, getting a laugh or two is fine by me but, maybe they could make some more interesting options for every character instead of just throwing in ridiculous stuff. But again, we should blame players like SuperiorWare said..

Lol dude. 5 months down the line and you are STILL defending that statement! Anyway, I'm not gonna harp on about the customisation but I think the commentary comment you made was no good. I understand japanese and I prefer tekken vids WITH the commentary. If you do watch a lot of tekken vids, imagine Tekken Crash without commentary! Might not be your language, but it adds flavour :)

Actually I do like with custom items a lot. When you play a franchise like this as much as some of us do, it's much appreciated to have the option to change the way characters look. You're right, just saying that if Namco limited some of those custom items maybe those dumb-asses as you said, wouldn't had the chance to make characters look like clowns. Bear in mind that those "gay" SF characters had influenced Namco dev-team when they created Tekken 15 years ago. ;)

TTT1 u couldnt just throw out random launchers and get lucky with a big ass combo to the wall then oki for the kill . TTT1 took way more dedication and skill to be recognized and good at , then this shit whats called tekken today .

I think Namco should cut it up with the customization items as some of them are just plain ridiculous. If the avatar pictures wouldn't be on screen, newcomers and non-players alike would had a hard time trying to tell who's who here. Also, please someone silence those damn japanese comentators?!
