Probably because they won't sell out and compromise their morals and values for fame. Which makes them even better imo

I think it's much better this way. Fame will only do bad more than good. There's a lot of examples out there where once good artists turns bad due to the fame. Plus it feels special knowing there are only few people know this artist. It feels like our little secret artist that we don't have to share to other people haha.
