Thank you for this wonderful gem!!! My four grandparents were all born between 1900 and 1906, so it's fun for me, to see the children in these movies who were the same age as them. And I really liked all the affection lavished on these children. I hope it was that way for my grandparents too.

My grandparents on both sides were born in the early 1890's. They were in their early 20's when this movie was made. 😊

Liked the first one, Based on the theme that Dickens created; the idea of a nasty, miserly person vs. nicer, though poorer persons. And the nasty, miser learns his lesson and changes. Second one wasn't bad, there again based on a previous famous character (Holmes). Third one didn't understand.

Just wondering if they could record music; why not voices too ??!! Maybe music was live for the motion picture !!

I believe this was originally a recording from a showing in a theater where piano was played live along with the movie.
