Obinna Nwakwue Because you’re low brass. Lmao. Concert E Major would be like concert F# (6 sharps) for Bb clarinets and trumpets and C# (7 sharps) for Eb Saxophones and Bari’s

Our band and orchestra played this for our winter concert but the band and orchestra have different class periods. So at 3:22 it was really awkward for me cause I played chimes but it was just me and no strings.

@@samanthafialkow6092 this song is so long and our music was printed on the back of the page, I have no rests in the song so I have no clue how I will flip the page if I learn it, We have to learn it by december for a winter concert. I dont even think I would be able to learn this and this is a grade 3 piece my teacher said. My teacher grades us strictly on being good because my school is new so theres pressure on us needing to be good so in 10 years the school has a good reputation.Im a viola player and the only 1. theres 2 cellos, me viola , 1 bass, then rest violins like 9 of them. And i have a test tomorrow on measure 1-7 and I DIDNT PRACTICE AT ALL. R.I.P meh

@@samanthafialkow6092 turns out it wasn't a playing test she wanted us to clap a rhythm of a random measure. I managed to get an 80 on it. Not much people did good on it. She said on Monday, which is tomorrow, if nobody knows the rhythm well she will put away the song OOOOf. Before she showed us this song she wanted us to play a song called rhythm sticks by shirl jae well, something like that. It is a grade 5 I think and we managed to learn all of it but a hard part from 77-133 it's just measures repeating the same rhythm. Because we didn't know that part she said we will use it later. Then gave us this song Christmas festival that's like 300 measures xD. And it will be put away tomorrow if nobody knows the song rhythm.

Dude this is probably one of my favorite pieces I am doing for my Christmas concert this year but I have so much to do, I got this, Christmas Eve Sarajevo, A Charlie Brown Christmas, sleigh ride, Trepak, Dance of the sugar plum fairy, and March of the Nutcracker in my symphony orchestra that I am in, then I also have 3 more to play in my Philharmonic Orchestra and those are a lot easier (Thank God!) I get to play dance of the reed flutes, God rest ye merry, Rock ye very, and Le Froid de l’iver (The cold of winter) I love the pieces it’s just so much practice 😫😅🫡 good luck to everyone preparing for their next concert, may the force be with you! ❤️🥰🫡🫡🫡😎
