Ian and his sister Stephy haven't always had much to look forward to on Christmas. One way or another, they always get stuck with grumpy old Grandpa for the holidays.
Ian knows that this Christmas will be different. When Ian and Stephy get invited to a big Christmas party, they set out to discover what Christmas is really about. Along the way they will meet many interesting characters, including a very helpful angel, a kind old saint, and a very special little baby.

I'm genuinely amazed at the comedic timing in this. And I can appreciate the values it holds even if I'm not Christian myself. The ending may be bittersweet to some. The kids never really got a proper gift from their grandfather, the grandfather got a small character redemption scene but not enough to justify his actions towards the grandkids, and the rich family were never punished, but maybe this is what Scott intended. Even if the world may not go according to what you want it to be, if you could be the change you wish the world would've been, then maybe that impact will spread across people. Baby steps, but soon it'll run.

Why does this film feel like it influenced FNAF 4? For starters, the profile of the house is kinda similar to the house in FNAF 4, with a porch on the side and the large triangular roof ontop with a little window peeking out. The interior of the house is also very similar, with the wallpaper being similar to the wallpaper in FNAF 4. Even the TV room where the grandpa sits is almost identical to the TV room in Sister Location that you see at the end of the nights. The main protagonist, Ian, is also very similar to the Crying Child, with him having brown hair, a striped shirt, and even the little strands of hair along the middle of his face being very similar to the Crying Child. He even has a little sister for crying out loud, and while she doesn't look like Elizabeth as we see in the games, she does kinda look like Circus Baby, with the reddish curly hair she has. The grandpa being so distant and disconnected from his family is also kinda reminiscent of William being a dead-beat dad to his kids. HECK, you could even connect the mysterious angel to Freddy Fazbear! He's male, wears a primarily brown outfit with a tophat and bowtie, need I say more? He's also mistaken for a BEAR by the kids for crying out loud. Idk man, theres something about this film that just feels as if it managed to influence parts of FNAF.
