A lot of music in this film was public domain music, which is an interesting tool to save money, and it actually works. A lot of music from this film can be heard in SpongeBob, which does the same thing.

I definitely heard two tracks from the movie that were in various episodes of Spongebob. This track that plays in this scene is Romeo and Juliet Overture and later when Ralphie is decoding it’s the second half of Footsteps of Horror. The latter track is kinda an interesting choice. You could argue that it’s supposed to be dramatic as he’s trying to figure out what the message is.

Ralphie's fantasy here reminds me of the fantasy Ernie(on Sesame street) has in this one segment from season 3 or so, where he's finally figured out for himself that Bert's precious vase belongs on the big shelf(and not the little bitty shelf), that he fantasizes Bert being so tickled pink that Ernie did not let the vase fall and shatter that Bert decides to throw a big party for him.
