On a day of sunshine and showers, we embarked on a picturesque circular walk around Loch Drunkie, covering a distance of six miles. The changing weather added a dynamic charm to the lush scenery, with moments of bright sunlight casting shimmering reflections on the water, followed by refreshing bursts of rain. We visited the two dams on the loch along the way, marvelling at their engineering and the serene views they offered. The blend of natural beauty and peaceful ambience made for a memorable outdoor adventure.
The walk was led by Sheena and Mary who were practising their map reading skills on the walk.
