Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed. For almost two decades, we've worked to collect, scan and preserve the world as it was captured on 35mm, 16mm and 8mm movies -- including home movies, industrial films, and other non-fiction. If you have endangered films you'd like to have scanned, or wish to donate celluloid to Periscope Film so that we can share them with the world, we'd love to hear from you. This is the city: Los Angeles, California. In the City of the Angels, sometimes a few halos slip. When they do, that's when I go to work. I carry a badge.

"It was Friday, August 5th. It was hot in Los Angeles. We were working the day watch out of Homicide. The boss is Captain Warman. My partner is Bill Gannon. My name is Friday. It was 5:30pm- just about the time Bill and I were ready to sign out and go home. And then, something happened that kept us busy all night."

@@jdm1039 And it just so happens the golden era as when it was conservative. If it was cherry picking it would be easy for you to show a beautiful well run blue city. Good luck doing that.
