Constantine was called Cirta,it was a capital of Numidia ,with it's king Massinissa,king of amazigh,our roots,we algerian people,before being colonized by romans.

Algeria is a very old country called NUMIDIA. more than 2000 years ago the Romans and Greeks speak of it in writings the French tried to erase our history and our culture They stole a lot of priceless museum pieces and our archives are in Paris Algeria has existed since the beginning of North African civilization under different names and with different capitals (Constantine, Tlemcen, Bejaia, Cherchel....) it will be standing until the end of time Inshallah

If you are going to visit Constantine, the city of suspension bridges, and which sounds like the DC Comics superhero, don't hesitate to go under the bridges where other suspension bridges jut out across the void. They recall Tolkien's novel or the movie Lords of the Rings when Gandalf casts a spell on the mountain guardian, shouting "You shall not pass". Don't hesitate to visit the tunnels and caves because Constantine has many tunnels under the city which cross the entire city.
